Consulting Projects
3CIS has provided consulting services to individuals, not for profit, public institutions and enterprise customers. Our services include network design, security services, strategic planning, statistical analysis, auditing, and disaster recovery. Examples include:
Providing network audit services to a school division to help track down intermittant network problems. 3CIS is experienced in all aspects of networking and was asked to provide an independent observation on throughputs and latencies throughout the school division's network. The network consisted of wireless and wired connections and thousands of workstations over multiple communities. Our technicians were able to provide an analysis of the network that included tracking down configuration issues likely responsible for the networks poor performance. A detailed report was generated and delivered to the school division.
Providing statistical analysis services to a group of five northern First Nations Bands. 3CIS designed and
carried out all statistical analysis required to formulate an assessment of Information and Communication
Technology readiness within the bands. Working with our partners, 3CIS developed a report outlining the current
status and recommendations for the future.
Providing programming and process audits on a software development project that was over budget and over time.
All too often projects get out of hand costwise and timewise. The client is often baffled with technospeak to explain
the overruns - sometimes valid, sometimes not. 3CIS was contracted to look over the development work of a third party
contractor and compiled a report with our findings and recommendations.
Providing network design services to a public college looking to expand their network. 3CIS is very adept at
bridging differing technologies together. 3CIS was contracted to look at the college's internal network situation - both WAN and multiple LANs - in order to provide a design and recommendations on expansion plans.
